ABOUT THE ROLE…
As an Account Executive for the Commercial segment in Stuttgart, you’ll build and grow customer relationships across Baden‑Württemberg, working closely with our partners to deliver Pure Storage outcomes for mid-market organizations. You’ll own the full sales cycle, from prospecting to close, and ensure an exceptional customer experience throughout. You’ll collaborate across Presales, Channel, and Marketing to build healthy pipeline and consistently deliver results. You will work closely with a network of channel, GSI, and ecosystem partners to position and sell the Pure Storage platform within your assigned accounts.
YOUR CHALLENGE…
As an Account Executive, you will:
Create and execute account strategies; coordinate team selling with partners; forecast accurately; and close business on a monthly, quarterly, and annual cadence.
Build and maintain a robust pipeline through effective prospecting and partner co-selling, consistently delivering against quota goals.
Develop and present compelling proposals that clearly articulate business outcomes and the value of the Pure Storage platform for customers’ environments (predominantly on-prem with cloud storage understanding).
Cultivate strong, trust-based relationships with customers and partners, becoming a go-to resource for outcomes-focused conversations.
Use Salesforce.com to manage activities, pipeline, and forecasts with rigor and transparency.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING…
Authentic customer focus with the ability to lead complex sales cycles and partner with multiple stakeholders across IT and the business.
Knowledge of storage industry concepts (SAN, NAS) and modern data solutions; cloud storage literacy valued. Prior storage experience is helpful but not required.
Business-fluent German and English communication skills (written and verbal).
Proficiency with Salesforce.com and common productivity tools; strong time management and communication skills.
