Your Mission
You will be joining a small team of communication enthusiasts who work closely with BlaBlaCar’s management team to articulate BlaBlaCar’s vision, strategy and impacts. This role is a great opportunity to be exposed to the strategic decisions of a scale-up and to articulate them to key stakeholders.
Your role will be to translate BlaBlaCar's positioning and strategy into compelling content for the company's various stakeholders, including the media, industry conferences, government relations, investors, internal team, etc. In doing so, you will help to develop a consistent and engaging message about what we do, build goodwill with our stakeholders and give the company a face. Reporting to our Corporate Communications Lead, you will work closely with the Business, PR, Government Relations and Brand teams, as well as the CEO's office.
Your Responsibilities
Developing messages to build BlaBlaCar’s reputation among corporate audiences globally, with a strong focus on France.Project management of global studies on our activity to fuel our narratives : such as those analyzing BlaBlaCar’s social and environmental impacts. You will manage every step of the process from building the objectives of the study, defining its scope, interacting with third-party consultants conducting the analysis, and analyzing the results, to creating a compelling narrative and report based on these findings, and developing the communication strategy.Creating stellar content on various channels to support key corporate messages, including conference decks, infographics or video content.Copywriting in English and French for CEO Coms (bylines, LinkedIn, etc.), corporate studies, or corporate social media.Managing BlaBlaCar's and CEO's presence on corporate social media accounts (LinkedIn)Your Qualifications
2-5 years of experience in Corporate Communications, either in-house or agency-sidePassionate about the sector and our mission: You are interested in the mobility sector and share BlaBlaCar’s vision of promoting sustainable and shared mobility. Your enthusiasm for our mission drives your work, and you are motivated to contribute to a company that is making a positive impact on the environment and society.Analytical & articulated : You have the ability to absorb complex topics and articulate them simply. You are analytical and data-driven, able to transform data into compelling messages.Stellar copywriting in both English and French: You know how to find the right words that are engaging while conveying a meaningful message. You're at ease with short content to find the right punchline, and long content to articulate more complex ideas. And you can do that in both English and French.Social media expertise: You have great knowledge of the latest social media trends and the codes and formats for posting engaging content on corporate social media platforms such as LinkedIn.Design skills: You're able to create simple, ready-to-post visuals, and photo or video content from scratch using your phone or tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.Overall, your communications knowledge helps you brief and collaborate effectively with our in-house creative studios or external agencies for complex content.Entrepreneurial & creative personality: You thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and are not afraid to take initiative.
