DevOps Engineer

The Role

As a undefined Engineer, you will support the engineering teams as they deploy applications to production using Kubernetes, Terraform, and CI-CD automation. From implementing security measures for production environments to tracking and reporting on the frequency and severity of incidents. You will help to answer questions from developers, the support team, management and your fellow undefined team members and figure out why things are not performing as they should

What do you need to be a undefined Engineer at Go1? 

• You have drive and determination
• You care about the details as well as people
• You dig to get to the bottom of things and care about your customers
• At least 5 years’ experience working in infrastructure and or development environments 
• At least 3 years of experience using a public Cloud; AWS, GCP, Azure
• Understanding of Docker and other container orchestration tools like Kubernetes
• Experience with PHP or Nodejs and a undefined background
• Experience writing software to automate API-driven tasks at scale
• Healthy knowledge of Linux (have compiled your own kernel at some point, know how to trace syscalls, understand TCP, care about the difference between sysvinit/runit/systemd, etc.)
• Experience using version control (e.g., Git) and version control platforms (e.g., GitHub, GitLab, BitBucket)
