Middle/Senior 2D Artist (remote)

What are you working on? The name of the project(s): Star Merge At what stage of the project(s)? Soft-launch Genres: Adventure, Puzzle, Casual Platforms: Mobile, iOS, android For which tasks (responsibilities)? Collaborate with game designers and developers to create 2D assets for mobile games Create concept art, sketches, and storyboards to communicate design ideas Create high-quality 2D art assets using industry-standard tools such as Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator Ensure that all art assets are optimized for performance on mobile devices Work with the UI/UX specialist to design and implement intuitive and engaging user interfaces Continuously iterate on designs based on feedback from the game development team What kind of professional are we looking for? ~ Bachelor's degree in art, design, or a related field ~2+ years of experience in 2D art for mobile games or other digital products ~ Strong drawing and painting skills, with a portfolio demonstrating a deep understanding of color theory, composition, and visual storytelling ~ Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator ~ Knowledge of current trends and best practices in mobile game art and design ~ Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment ~ Good written and verbal communication skills in English Preferred qualifications: Experience with animation or motion graphics Experience with 3D modelling Experience designing for international audiences What are the conditions and bonuses? ~ We can offer full-time contract of employment in Estonia; ~ For Chisinau Office employees: full social package, and medical assurance according to IT Park Moldova; ~ Competitive salaries, reviewed on a timely basis, or personal achievements and involvement in the project; ~5 sick days, 28 calendar days of vacation; ~ Working in a team of talented and passionate professionals, with the ability for fast growth in professional terms; ~ Five days full-time, flexible working hours; ~ Possibility to work remotely.
