About The Role:
Hello Heart is growing rapidly and is looking for a Senior Brand Designer to join the marketing team to design content that delights our buyers, raises the bar for visual design and elevates our brand image. Are you able to translate ideas and/or creative briefs into visually stunning designs that help capture attention that spurs action? Do you love working cross-functionally with a variety of teams that have various and often differing opinions? Do you have excellent communication skills that include the ability to confidently articulate design choices? If so, this could be the role for you.
The ideal candidate is someone who understands B2B marketing (and the data behind it) while possessing best-in-class modern, innovative design skills. Hello Heart expects this senior brand professional to be ahead of the latest design trends and well-versed in industry and creative best practices, particularly when it comes to B2B marketing in the US market. We are looking for a ROCK STAR designer!
This is a newly created individual contributor role on the enterprise marketing team, and the successful candidate will have the opportunity to wear many hats and make an outsize impact beyond the traditional scope of a brand designer.
Areas of Responsibilities
- Be the âgo toâ person for all enterprise marketing design needs at the company, consistently raising the bar on creative development and execution
- Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver quality, on-brand designs that effectively âspeakâ to employers and the channel, helping drive revenue growth
- Ideate and execute marketing campaign assets, including sales materials (slides, case studies, white papers, etc.) and other, digital assets design (website, social, etc.)
- Develop conceptually detailed visual mockups to communicate high-level design strategies
- Modernize existing content to high design standards, ensuring alignment with brand
- Support your designs using insights including quantitative data/metrics and qualitative feedback
- Geek on A/B testing that is relevant for design, particularly when it comes to content utilization
- Collaborate with other Hello Heart (and external) designers team to ideate, share key learnings, create efficiencies and ensure visual identity consistencies
- Create documents (e.g., creative briefs) and processes (e.g., managing priorities in Asana) to create efficiencies and transparency across the team
- Create and maintain a digital design library, with best practices and guidelines that accelerates production and minimizes budget and time delays
- Provide and manage design documentation and specifications
- Hire and manage freelancers/contractors to augment design efforts, as needed
Qualifications
- 7+ years of graphic design experience, in-house or at an agency
- 5+ years in B2B marketing
- Digital healthcare experience a plus
- Experience in overseeing the creative process through project management with tools like Asana a plus
- Exemplified mastery of the principles of design, typography, layout, color theory, etc.
- Experience designing a variety of assets, including collateral, social, print, web, ads, email templates, etc.
- Background hiring and managing freelancers and agencies
- Experience in a scaling company is a must
- Bachelorâs degree required, ideally in graphic/visual design field
- Expertise using the latest creative design tools (Adobe CC, Figma/Sketch, etc.)
- Experience with enterprise tools, including Salesforce, Google Suite, Pardot, Asana
