Senior DevOps Engineer

Inventory Planner is looking for a senior undefined engineer to support and improve its infrastructure. You will work on a variety of projects including maintaining and monitoring the production application and contributing to the development and deployment process. ##About you You have 5+ years of professional experience in a software engineering environment and can work in a dynamic environment. You have experience delivering reliable and highly available systems and setting up efficient deployment processes. You can navigate large codebases, share knowledge and contribute to design discussions and code reviews. You can own projects from conception to release. You are comfortable exploring and learning new technologies and have good communication skills, including verbal and writing. ###The following experience is required: * Linux server configuration and maintenance, shell. * MongoDB or other NoSQL database * Continuous integration concepts and tools * IT Automation (Ansible) * Nginx ###The following experience is a plus: * PHP or other programming languages * Logging and Monitoring tools (ELK, Grafana Loki) * Container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) * Cloud infrastructure providers (Google Cloud, AWS) * Cloudflare ##About Inventory Planner Inventory Planner helps e-Commerce merchants to have the right products at the right time by forecasting customer demand and to save time on ordering and optimizing inventory budgets, Inventory Planner recommends what they should have on hand, view trends in their store, and prepare so that they don’t miss out on sales. Our team is located in Europe, the US, and the Philippines. Our stack includes PHP and MongoDB (backend) and VueJS (web application), Linux servers. ##About the role As our first dedicated undefined engineer you’ll help shape a number of areas critical to our rapid growth. Growth in our customer numbers means we need to monitor and manage our availability to an even greater level and be able to dive into debugging live issues with ease. Growth in our data means we need to ensure we can stress test our systems way ahead of our customers doing it for us. Growth in our engineering team means we need better tooling to ensure new hires and existing staff can be productive and happy as our infrastructure and applications evolve.
