Job Description

The Account Manager will be responsible for driving clinical adoption, growing utilization, and long-term value realization of the Epione® robotic percutaneous ablation platform across assigned accounts. This role combines strategic account management with clinical engagement, education, and field execution to expand procedure volume, deepen customer relationships, and embed Epione® as the preferred robotic oncology tool within hospital systems. The ideal candidate operates with a balance of commercial acumen, technical expertise, and surgical support experience.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Account Growth & Utilization

• Develop and implement tailored growth strategies to increase Epione® procedure utilization and drive volume at existing sites.

• Establish and manage quarterly business plans with measurable targets for utilization, clinical engagements, and referral expansion.

• Identify opportunities to expand Epione® use across additional departments, specialties, and physicians within strategic accounts.

Clinical Support & Training

• Serve as a clinical partner during product evaluations, physician training, and utilization of the Epione® platform.

• Deliver structured on-site and virtual training sessions for physicians, department staff, and clinical champions to achieve confident independent use.

• Provide real-time procedural support and feedback to ensure high adoption and positive clinical outcomes.

Customer Relationship Management

• Build and maintain strong executive-level relationships across hospital leadership, radiology departments, and multidisciplinary care teams.

• Act as the primary customer contact post-sale for utilization optimization, issue resolution, and satisfaction alignment.

• Represent Quantum Surgical at professional society meetings, conferences, and regional events to strengthen brand visibility and clinical credibility.

Commercial Execution

• Support committee presentations, tumor boards, and business case development to reinforce utilization rationale.

• Work closely with internal cross-functional teams, including Capital Sales Team, Clinical Development Specialist, Education, Marketing, and Service to deliver a seamless customer experience.

• Collect and communicate customer insights, competitive intelligence, and utilization trends to commercial leadership.


Profile

Required

• Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience and a demonstrated track record of success in a customer-facing medical device or healthcare role.

• Clinical background or direct experience working alongside physicians in procedural environments such as interventional radiology, oncology, surgery, or advanced OR settings.

• Proven history of driving increased utilization, clinical adoption, or revenue expansion within complex hospital systems.

• Strong ability to engage and influence clinical, operational, and executive stakeholders.

• Willingness and ability to travel extensively within the assigned territory, up to approximately 50 percent, including overnight travel as required.

• Fluent in English, both written and verbal.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Business, Life Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.

• Prior experience in surgical robotics, image-guided therapy, or advanced capital medical equipment.

• Solid understanding of hospital workflows, procedural economics, and value analysis processes.

• Experience supporting clinical training, site launches, and ongoing utilization optimization.

• Multilingual capabilities and international healthcare exposure.

1. Screening interview (Teams Meeting) – HR; 20-30 minutes

2. Technical interview (Teams Meeting) – Hiring Manager & HR; 30-45 minutes

3. Final interview in our offices – Hiring Manager & Epione Team; 60-90 minutes
