Your Mission
We are looking for a Consumer Communications and PR Manager in Paris to build BlaBlaCar’s consumer communication strategy and lead its successful execution in France. Reporting to our Head of Local Communications, you will work closely with the Marketing, Brand, Corporate Communications and Social Media teams to coordinate the right consumer PR, positioning and messages focusing on our members in France.
Your Responsibilities
Work with different local and global team members to build a consumer communication strategy that echoes the French market's different developments and needs (long-distance carpooling, BlaBlaCar Daily, BlaBlaCar buses, etc.) and coordinate with marketing, brand, social media, customer relations, and corporate PR to ensure consistency of the consumer communication plan rolled out across channels.Project management of PR/Comms consumer campaigns: from the development of creative ideas and creation of the narrative to the coordination of the content with the different teams, definition of scopes, development of the strategy and performance measurement.Ensure maximizing the 360º potential of any communication/PR action towards our members using the comprehensive channel mix in coordination with the Marketing team. Voice of the consumer monitoring, identify opportunities to be visible and prepare press releases and other copywriting materials that help to build brand awareness and support business objectives.Manage the local consumer PR agency in France to set up objectives, collect ideas and track results/performance.Be a local spokesperson and conduct media interviews with other local spokespersons, prepare speaking notes and key messages that reflect consumer communications objectives.Your Qualifications
5+ years of experience in consumer communications & PR, ideally in the tech/digital, mobility or marketplace industries, either in-house or agency-side.Fluent in English and stellar capacity in French. Excellent ability with creative content and articulating messages to the right audience.Strong knowledge of the French press and media landscape. Social media expertise: great knowledge of the latest social media trends and the codes and formats for posting engaging content on consumer social media platforms.Strong knowledge and experience in building a robust communication strategy, including positioning and crisis management.Analytical skills to be able to translate data into storytelling. Proactivity: we are looking for a person with initiative, willing to work with different teams to receive the proper inputs to refine the creativity materializing campaigns and coordinating them to maximize their impact potential.If you don’t meet 100% of the qualifications outlined above, tell us why you’d still be a great fit for this role in your application!
