The Global Business Development Lead, Nightclubs position will lead the strategy, planning and execution for business development of this vertical world-wide. This person will be responsible for generating new business through identifying and building new customer relationships, defining market segmentation and targets, as well as implementing the appropriate sales coverage model to support growth strategies. This role will be responsible for growing sales and profitability by focusing on key objectives. This person will be leading our teams for sales methodology as it relates to the market vertical.
Responsibilities:
Strategy & Market/Field Development
Define and execute vertical strategy, segmentation, value proposition, routes to market, and coverage. Prioritize key customers, competitive positioning, portfolio focus, and strategic partnerships.
Develop new businesses through collaboration with the regional sales managers and partnership with key certified providers and end user clients.
Impact: Clear direction and stronger differentiation
2) Forecasting/Planning & Performance Management
Own targets, OKRs, and forecast governance on vertical market. Integrate key accounts, agreements, and critical opportunities into planning.
Impact: Better accuracy and pipeline quality
3) Team Leadership, Capability & Culture
Enable regional BD and sales channels through playbooks, tools, training, and coaching. Support key customer engagements. Manage through matrix leadership Regional Vertical teams.
Impact: Higher effectiveness and win rates
4) Pipeline/Execution & Ecosystem
Sponsor major pursuits, alliances, and key account growth. Drive agreements, early engagement, and opportunity creation.
Impact: Larger deals and stronger ecosystem leverage
5) Data, Standards & Process
Own methodology, metrics, and insight packs. Standardize processes and competitive intelligence.
Impact: Consistent execution and better decisions.
6) Cross Functional
Co-lead GTM and launches; align with Product Marketing, Applications, Sales, and Communications.
Evaluate and monitor competitive activities and develop reliable market data. Recommend strategy defenses, offenses, and tactics for the company to stay ahead of competition and gain new market share. Represent market needs internally.
Impact: Faster GTM and better product market fit.
KPIs: Revenue, win rate, forecast accuracy, methodology adoption, account growth, # of Framework/Master Agreements signed
Skills & Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in sales/marketing/business preferred
Minimum of 10 years’ experience with A/V equipment or High Technology Systems sales with proven successful track record
Experience in business development
Strong relationships and network with key market stakeholders
Experience with premium loudspeaker sales preferred
Experience with CRM and key opportunities management processes
Candidate must be energetic, self-motivated and possess a desire to win
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Outstanding organization and follow-up skills
Location and Travel:
World-wide travels as required per market development needs
