This team is growing fast and comprises both account executive and account management functions that sell the 360Learning solution.
Our ideal candidate is ambitious, revenue-driven, and an excellent communicator, showcasing exceptional communication skills, particularly in writing. You will play a critical role in leading and overseeing the proposal development process for the revenue organization in North America with stretch responsibilities globally. This position requires a strategic mindset and a deep understanding of proposal best practices within the HR technology space with a strong preference for the LMS industry. You will drive process improvements and ensure the development of high-quality, winning proposals that meet client needs and business objectives.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop compelling proposals that meet client requirements and differentiate our organization from competitors.

What You'll Do
Support the North American revenue organization by managing the complete lifecycle of commercial and public sector bids from intake to submissionCollaborate with account executives, account managers, solution engineers (presales), and other cross-functional teams to operate with outstanding synchronizationLead opportunity qualification (go/no-go decision) calls/meetings, strategy calls, and regular status updates of the proposals funnelDevelop win themes and value propositions highlighting our organization's strengths and unique selling pointsCreate and distribute project outlines (responsibility matrix) that break out RFP requirements into section assignments for project team members for completionReview RFP requirements thoroughly ensuring proposal components comply with client specificationsPerform writing, editing, proofreading, customizing, and formatting ensuring proposal responses are clear, concise and well-presentedConduct quality assurance checks to verify proposal content's accuracy, completeness, and compliance with the company’s brand guidelinesConduct proposal debriefs and win/loss analysis for continuous process improvementProvide feedback to our product and services teams to drive innovation and identify product/service gaps to fill Implement standardized tools, templates, and workflows to facilitate the creation of consistent and compelling proposalsMaintain and update the RFP knowledge base, to increase the efficiency of the proposal processStay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to enhance the effectiveness of the proposal development processAs needed and dictated by growth; recruit, train, mentor, and coach a high-performing team of proposal specialists and coordinatorsWithin 1 month, you will:

Establish and prepare proposal process documentationCollaborate with leadership and establish process KPIsReview successful and unsuccessful past proposals to understand the organization's approach and areas for improvementCollaborate with subject matter experts and other stakeholders across product, services, and security to gather and refine proposal contentLead the entire process and support the North American revenue organizationWithin 6 months, you will:
Review the process and recommend improvements, as requiredAs needed, prepare strategic recommendations that could include new technology, team development, etc.Be on track to attaining KPIs and in alignment with the revenue organization’s OKRsThe Skill Set
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, communications, or related field (Master's degree preferred)Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in proposal management, business development, or a related field, with at least 3 years in a leadership or management roleStrong sales and business aptitude and instinct and enjoy speaking with stakeholders at various stages of the sales cycleExcellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate complex ideas and concepts clearly and persuasivelyStrong project management skills, with the ability to manage complex, multi-phase projects from inception to completionProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, and proposal management software (e.g., Conveyor, Responsive, Loopio, SharePoint, or similar tools)Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing prioritiesStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities, focusing on driving results and achieving business objectivesTeam player who can collaborate effectively with colleagues at all levels of the organizationKnowledge and understanding of marketing and business development best practicesKnowledge and understanding of cybersecurity, compliance, and governance requirements Familiarity with government contracting processes and compliance standards is a plusExperience and knowledge of the HR technology and LMS industries will be a plusWhat We Offer
